Job summary

ShopRite of West Chester is seeking an Appy/Deli Associate to support the daily operations of the Appy/Deli Department. You will deliver a great customer experience while maintaining neat, clean displays and ensuring product quality.

The role requires reading and communicating effectively in English, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will work with others to provide friendly service and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand English.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Operate deli equipment (slicer, scale, can-opener, etc.).
• Stand, bend, lift up to 25 lbs., occasionally 50 lbs.
• Work in varying temperatures.
• Interact with customers in a friendly way.
• Work cooperatively with others.
• Maintain punctual attendance and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Use a slicing machine and related equipment.
• Replenish Appy/Deli products.
• Prepare Appy/Deli products for sale.
• Follow procedures for receiving, dating, storing, pricing, and restocking.
• Handle damaged products according to policy.
• Keep displays stocked and attractive.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Stand at the workstation during shifts.
