Job summary

ShopRite of Succasunna is seeking an Appy/Deli Clerk to deliver great customer experiences. You will assist the Deli/Appliance Manager, keep the department neat, and help prepare and display fresh products.

The role demands strong English skills, good math, and the ability to lift and stand for long shifts. Responsibilities include operating slicing and service equipment, stocking, rotating stock, and helping with inventory and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic math skills including measuring and weighing.
• Operate equipment as required by Appy/Deli dept.
• Stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Work in varying temperatures and with food products.
• Follow safety, QA, and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Use slicing machine and related equipment.
• Replenish Appy/Deli products and prepare items for sale.
• Receive, date, store, and price mark products and rotate stock.
• Keep displays attractive and departments clean and organized.
• Unload trucks and move 25–50 lb merchandise as needed.
• Monitor inventory and report spoilage or low stock.
• Adhere to safety policies and purging of damaged goods.
