Job summary

FiveStar Food Mart in Shepherdsville, KY is seeking a Customer Service Representative to greet customers, handle sales at the register, and keep the store clean and stocked. You will perform fast-paced transactions, assist with deli sections, and promote FiveStar specials while following safety and policy guidelines.

Flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays are required. Applicants must be 18+, presentable, reliable, and capable of basic computer tasks in a team

Responsibilities

• Greet, thank, make eye contact, and engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Complete fast-paced sales transactions on a register and accurately account for any mistakes.
• Prepare quality food using food service equipment according to FiveStar guidelines and food safety standards.
• Maintain PAR levels in the Deli (Cold and Hot).
• Promote FiveStar specials by informing customers and suggestive selling on each transaction.
• Clean and merchandise sales areas to ensure product is visually appealing and available.
• Clean floors, restrooms, parking lots, and all other areas around the store.
• Practice safe working habits that align with company safety rules.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal laws.
