Responsibilities

• Greet, thank customers, make eye contact, and engage to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Complete fast-paced, accurate sales transactions on a register and account for any mistakes (voids or misprints).
• Prepare quality food using service equipment (fryers, ovens, slicers) according to FiveStar guidelines and food safety standards.
• Maintain PAR levels in the Deli (Cold and Hot).
• Promote FiveStar specials by informing customers and engaging in suggestive selling on each transaction.
• Clean and merchandise sales areas (deli, sales floor, and cooler) to keep products visually appealing and available.
• Clean floors, restrooms, parking lots, and all areas around the store.
• Practice safe working habits aligning with company safety rules.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal laws.
• Follow all company policies as outlined in the FiveStar employee handbook.
