Hy-Vee seeks a Delicatessen Clerk in our Delicatessen department to handle food safely, greet customers warmly, and keep the area clean and organized. You will run registers, take orders, and ensure courteous service to shoppers and team members.

Responsibilities include assisting customers at the delicatessen counter, loading products as needed, and maintaining sanitation and freshness of foods while collaborating with coworkers for a positive shopping experience.

Formación

• Experience handling food safely and maintaining clean work areas.
• Ability to operate registers and handle payments when required.
• Provide courteous, friendly, efficient customer service to shoppers.

Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by greeting customers and assisting with product location.
• Assist customers by showing products, taking orders at the delicatessen counter and processing payments.
• Operate department registers and make change when applicable.
• Maintain sanitation and neatness of the work area and ensure product freshness.
• Collaborate with coworkers to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth store operations.

Less than high school or equivalent experience and six months or less of similar or related work experience.
