Cosentino's Brookside Market is seeking an Experienced Cook for a full-time, on-site role at our Brookside Market location. The Deli Cook will prepare a variety of deli items, maintain a clean workstation, and ensure top-tier food safety and customer service in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate has experience in deli or restaurant environments, a valid Food Handler's Card, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in food preparation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare deli items: sandwiches, salads, and sides per recipes.
• Keep workstation clean and follow sanitation guidelines.
• Cook meats, seafood, and vegetables.
• Use frying, grilling, roasting, and sauteing methods.
• Operate kitchen equipment: grills, ovens, slicers.
• Provide friendly customer service and handle requests.
• Assist with prep: chop vegetables, sauces, portions.

• Monitor inventory and report shortages to deli manager.
