Our Deli Cooks take pride in creating classic recipes and flavors of a traditional New York deli. This key role is critical to our success in executing the highest quality food with speed, accuracy, and efficiency. This job is located at our restaurant in Downtown Lake Worth.

Job Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent experience in a restaurant or related field
2. Flexible and long hours required at times
3. Approach all encounters with guests in a friendly, socially distanced, and service-oriented manner
4. Maintain cleanliness of high touch points throughout the kitchen
5. Follow a regular schedule compliant with TooJay’s business needs and Covid-19 cleanliness protocols
6. Maintain high standards of personal grooming, including proper uniform and PPE as regulated
7. Ability to stand for entire shift and exert up to 50 pounds
8. Navigate safely throughout the kitchen and walk-ins
9. Handle and operate kitchen equipment safely, including microwave, knives, steam table, gas range, ovens, slicers, and other tools; answer phones as needed
10. Reach overhead, carry trays and cooler bags, handle hot and cold beverages, and communicate effectively with co-workers
