Reports To: Deli Manager

Are you passionate about food service and enjoy providing delicious meal options to guests? We seek a Deli Clerk to play a key role in food preparation and guest service in our retail grocery environment.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

• Provide Helpful Service: Offer excellent guest service, greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally.
• Guest Assistance: Help guests find items and answer the Deli Department phone professionally.
• Order Fulfillment: Prepare and fulfill guest orders with attention to quality.
• Customer Service: Resolve guest issues promptly, ensuring a positive experience.
• Quality Control: Inspect, rotate, maintain temperatures, and replenish deli products.
• Inventory Management: Maintain proper inventory levels and supplies.
• Food Safety: Maintain food safety logs and adhere to safety standards.
• Efficiency: Meet quality standards by 10 am and 5 pm daily.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain regular attendance and communicate absences appropriately.
• Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.
