Job Title: Deli Clerk (Part Time)

Reports To: Deli Manager

Are you passionate about food service and enjoy providing customers (we call them guests!) with delicious meal options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner? We are seeking a Deli Clerk to join our retail grocery environment, playing a key role in food preparation and guest service.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

• Provide Helpful Service: Deliver excellent guest service through friendly greetings, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally and courteously.
• Guest Assistance: Help guests locate items and answer the Deli Department telephone professionally.
• Order Fulfillment: Receive, prepare, and fulfill guest orders and special requests with attention to detail and quality.
• Customer Service: Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
• Quality Control: Inspect, rotate, and maintain deli products, ensuring proper temperatures and replenishment.
• Inventory Management: Maintain proper inventory levels of deli supplies and materials.
• Food Safety: Lead in maintaining food safety logs and adhering to safety standards.
• Efficiency: Meet quality standards by 10 am and 5 pm daily.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain regular attendance and provide notice for absences.
• Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.
