Are you passionate about food service and enjoy providing customers (we call them guests!) with delicious meal options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner? We are seeking a Deli Clerk to join our retail grocery environment, where you'll play a key role in food preparation and guest service.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

• Provide Helpful Service: Deliver excellent guest service through friendly greetings, answering questions, and addressing concerns with professionalism and care.
• Guest Assistance: Help guests locate items and answer the Deli Department telephone professionally.
• Order Fulfillment: Receive, prepare, and fulfill guest orders and requests with attention to detail.
• Customer Service: Address guest concerns promptly to ensure positive experiences.
• Quality Control: Inspect, rotate, maintain proper temperatures, and replenish deli products to ensure high standards.
• Inventory Management: Maintain proper inventory levels of supplies and deli products.
• Food Safety: Maintain food safety logs and adhere to safety standards.
• Efficiency: Meet quality standards by 10 am and 5 pm daily.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance and provide notice for absences.
• Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.
