Job summary

Schnucks is seeking a Deli Clerk to deliver friendly customer service and help prepare fresh sandwiches, salads and display cases. You will rotate stock, monitor temperatures, and maintain cleanliness while following safety procedures.

Training will be provided, and opportunities for growth exist within the deli team. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and adherence to proper sanitation practices.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Food safety knowledge or willingness to learn would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers in person and on the phone.
• Maintain cleanliness of the deli area and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Operate meat and cheese slicers and wrapping equipment.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, and displays per company recipes.
• Ensure product freshness and proper rotation of stock.
• Assist with product samples and cross-selling to customers.
