Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Deli Clerk to prepare fresh deli items, assist customers, and maintain attractive, safe displays. You will slice meats and cheeses, assemble portions, and ensure products are labeled, priced, and ready for grab‑and‑go sales.

The role emphasizes fast‑paced teamwork, quality service, and staying active throughout shifts with emphasis on safety, sanitation, and accurate transactions. Training and development are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate slicers and food preparation equipment following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math skills for weighing, portioning, and transactions.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold deli items and grab‑and‑go offerings.
• Assist customers with selections and questions in person or by phone.
• Slice meats and cheeses and assemble portions.
• Keep display cases stocked, clean, and organized.
• Monitor product freshness and maintain safe service temperatures.
• Restock, take orders, and operate equipment as trained.
