Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Deli Clerk to prepare fresh deli items, slice meats, and assist customers with selections in a fast-paced store environment.

You will stock displays, maintain product freshness, and ensure accurate labeling and pricing while providing excellent customer service. Prior deli or food-service experience is a plus, with flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate slicers and food preparation equipment following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math skills for weighing, portioning, and transactions.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deli items, slice meats, assemble and portion products.
• Keep department stocked, clean, and displays organized; monitor freshness and temperatures.
• Take orders in person or by phone and assist customers with selections.
• Process transactions and provide accurate change.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and company procedures.
