Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is hiring for a deli associate to ensure hot and cold deli foods are prepared to standard and to promote excellent customer service. You will handle orders, maintain presentation, and support teammates in a fast-paced retail setting.

Ideal candidates are 16+ with Food Handler certification and a willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. Training is provided, and safety procedures are emphasized throughout the role.

Qualifications

• Food Handler certification required.
• Minimum age 16; 18+ to operate motorized equipment.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Slicing, weighing, packaging, labeling and preparing deli foods.
• Prepare and inspect equipment; maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Stock, rotate deli products and ensure quality standards.
• Greet customers, take orders by phone and in person.
• Promote product sales with suggestive selling.
• Maintain a clean, safe work and shopping area.
