Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a Deli Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a clean, safe deli department in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. This role focuses on assisting customers with requests, preparing items per recipes, and upholding food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deli items according to customer requests and recipes.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area and service counters.
• Label, date, rotate, and monitor quality and freshness of deli items.
• Know products in the deli department and assist customers with queries and suggestions.
• Provide exceptional service and use suggestive selling when appropriate.
• Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store leadership.
