About the position.....
Our East Meadow Uncle Giuseppe's Store is seeking a PT/FT Deli Clerk (BOH) for our busy Deli! This individual will be responsible for filling orders, packaging sandwiches, making salads, and more. The candidate must be at least 18 years old to work in our Deli.

Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must have experience working in a Deli with knowledge of how to cut prepared meats and cheese
- Must have experience making deli salads

Working Conditions:
Most of the time is spent moving about continuously on hard surfaces. There may be a need to frequently position oneself to examine and/or scan merchandise, including bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping. The role may require lifting objects up to 30 pounds and occasionally more than 30 pounds with assistance. Usually, work takes place in a comfortable indoor environment surrounded by moving machinery and/or loud equipment, which may require shouting to be heard. There could be exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and coolers. There may also be occasional exposure to cleaning agents.
