Freshies Hammond St. is hiring a full-time Deli Clerk to work mornings and weekends at our Bangor location. You will deliver high-quality food and exceptional service in a fast-paced deli environment, following Freshies recipes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in food service, deli, restaurant, or retail is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Reliable attendance and ability to work flexible shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, fast, and accurate customer service
• Prepare and serve food according to Freshies recipes and food standards
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked deli area
• Receive and verify deliveries (check quality, accuracy, and invoices)
• Track deli and food safety information using handheld or paper systems
• Handle customer concerns and communicate issues to management
• Follow all company policies for cleaning, food prep, and safety compliance
• Use approved products and equipment for food preparation and sanitation
