Job summary

Brookhaven Market in Arlington Heights, IL is hiring a Full-Time Deli Clerk to service the deli counter, slice meats and cheeses, and maintain the display case with accuracy and care.

You will interact with customers, recommend items, and help keep the department clean and well-stocked, while adhering to food-safety standards. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts are required as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to use the deli slicers.
• Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of scheduled shift and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities
