Job summary

Pauma Band of Mission Indians is seeking a friendly deli associate to provide warm, attentive service. You will take guests' orders, greet customers, and input orders into the POS while noting any special preparations.

You will check deli stock, make menu recommendations, retrieve finished orders, and ensure accuracy with condiments. The role requires strong communication and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

SUMMARY:

Service to include order taking of any food and beverage items. This task will be handled in a friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and professional manner resulting in a high level of guest satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Check deli to make sure food & beverage items are stocked.
• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Take guests orders and make menu recommendations.
• Input orders into (POS) Point of Sale System noting any special preparations in foods.
• When food is ready, retrieve order and confirm its accuracy with appropriate condiments.

EDUCATION:

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background investigation, and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)

• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Constantly walking and standing.
• Constant hearing, seeing, and talking.
