Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day deli/bakery operations and food preparation.
• Lead department staff to complete daily tasks and reinforce positive behaviors.
• Plan for and purchase food for the food service program, including ordering and stocking.
• Maintain proper food storage and sanitation levels.
• Maintain records of production, inventory, income/expense, shrink, and meal counts.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation procedures within the department.
• Supervise deli/bakery staff including cooks and food preparers.
• Monitor safety standards while handling and cooking food.
