Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a team member for our deli/bakery department in Bloomington. You will maintain cleanliness, stock and present deli items, and assist customers with purchases and selections.

We value high‑quality customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with flexible hours. Prior grocery experience and knowledge of health guidelines are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• 1–2 years grocery retail experience preferred.
• Experience in a natural foods environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep deli/bakery areas clean and safe, including shelves, floors, and workspaces.
• Stock, face, and organize deli/bakery products as directed, ensure accurate pricing.
• Monitor product rotation and discard expired items.
• Assist customers with purchases, information, and product selection; upsell when possible.
• Receive and inspect shipments for quantity, temperature, and quality.
• Ensure promotional signs and coupons are visible and updated.
