• Capability to cut and weigh various amounts of meats, salads, and cheeses.

Responsibilities

• Keeps deli/bakery cases, storage area, and work areas clean and organized; maintains safety.
• Stocks, faces, and prices deli/bakery items per department schematics.
• Inspects rotation and discards expired items.
• Assists customers with purchases and product selection; cross-sells when appropriate.
• Receives and logs products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality.
• Monitors promotional materials and recipe cards at point of purchase.
• Operates equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, and hand trucks.
• Prepares deli/bakery items with correct ingredients and cooking times.
• Weights and labels products accurately.
• Participates in pre-inventory prep and back stock management.
• Maintains product knowledge and department cleanliness.
• Adheres to department standards and policies.
