Candidates should have a high school diploma and 1 year of high-volume service experience, plus strong organizational and communication skills. The role involves managing deli/bakery operations, supporting the manager, merchandising, stocking, and ensuring quality and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1 year experience in high-volume food service, restaurant, or retail.
• Food safety certification preferred.
• Strong organization and planning skills for multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication.
• Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word and email; able to learn proprietary apps.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute policies, programs and procedures for deli/bakery operations.
• Merchandise, price and stock deli/bakery products.
• Scan out waste to maintain accurate loss records.
• Assist guests with product recommendations and locations, special orders, etc.
• Sell, merchandise, receive and store product.
• Ensure all deli/bakery products are prepared to specifications.
• Oversee deli/bakery operations in manager’s absence.
• Provide input to manager on associate performance and department conditions.
• Build relationships with guests, vendors and associates.
• Communicate with other Busch’s operations and adhere to policies.
