Job summary

Busch’s is hiring for a Deli/Bakery Manager Assistant at our South Lyon, MI location. This full-time, on-site role supports deli/bakery operations, inventory, and guest service with focus on quality and hospitality.

Starting wage up to $20.40/hr with experience, plus benefits such as a 401K with company match and Daily Pay. We seek organized, reliable team players who communicate well and can handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 2
• 1 year experience in a high-volume food service, restaurant, or retail environment.
• Food safety certification preferred.
• Proficient organization and planning skills to manage multiple deadlines and projects.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, including written, verbal and listening skills.
• Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word and email; able to learn proprietary apps.

Responsibilities

• Execute policies, programs and procedures defined for deli/bakery operations.
• Merchandise, price and stock all deli/bakery product.
• Ensure waste is scanned out to maintain accurate loss records.
• Assist guests with product recommendations and locations, requests, and special orders.
• Sell, merchandise, receive and store product.
• Ensure all products (sandwiches, salads, hot meals, catering) are prepared to specifications.
• Exemplify hospitality when interacting with guests.
• Oversee all deli/bakery operations in manager’s absence.
• Provide input to manager concerning associate performance and department conditions.
• Contribute to organizational effectiveness with information and recommendations.
• Communicate with other Busch’s operations functions.
• Adhere to Busch’s policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional/technical knowledge through education and networking.
• Build strong relationships with guests, vendors and associates.
