Kj’s Market in Crestdale, SC is seeking a deli/bakery department host to deliver friendly, guest-focused service and support daily operations. You will help manage product quality, inventory, and sanitation to meet Floco Foods standards in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, training others, and adhering to merchandising guidelines while maintaining labor and scheduling efficiency.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Ability to supervise hosts including training and development.
• Effective communication, guests service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from the deli/bakery department hosts.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the deli/bakery department.
• Maintain desired level of inventory and supplies.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines and programs.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Floco Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Floco Foods standards.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to ensure deli/bakery department hosts achieve satisfactory performance standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guests service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Maintain department’s labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Performs PA announcements.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
