Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Proficient communication, listening and written/verbal skills.
• Able to ask questions, listen and make product recommendations.
• Merchandising across display and cross-merchandising.
• Strong cleaning and sanitation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospitality and exceptional service by recommending products and assisting purchases.
• Set, maintain, service and stock cases and self-service areas.
• Promote products by offering samples and tastings.
• Rotate and ensure freshness; reduce shrink and waste tracking.
• Clean and sanitize department, equipment, and work areas.
• Follow safety and hygiene practices and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Receive, verify, price and store deliveries.
• Prepare products to specifications for sandwiches, salads and orders.
• Stay current on food trends and contribute to sales growth.
