Food Lion is seeking a dedicated team member for our Deli Bakery Department in Gastonia. Provide quality customer service, maintain standards, and maximize sales through friendly, efficient service.

You will handle product processing, labeling, sanitation, and adherence to safety guidelines while delivering a clean, organized department and a positive shopping experience for every customer.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service.
• Follow technical manuals for processing and labeling of product.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise per policies.
• Maintain sanitation of the department and proper food handling.
• Use company tools such as ACIS and CAO for inventory and ordering.
• Adhere to company guidelines, policies and standard practice.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with name badge in a neat appearance.
• Complete CBT, Training Packet and Training Aid courses.
