Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Deli Bakery Associate to provide quality customer service while maintaining department standards at our Concord, NC location. You will assist customers, follow standard practice manuals, and help with ordering, receiving, and displaying merchandise while ensuring proper sanitation and food safety.

You will work with tools like ACIS and CAO, adhere to safety guidelines, and contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and cook/prepare items as required.
• Strong customer service focus with safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service in the Deli Bakery Department.
• Maintain standards per the standard practice manual.
• Handle ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying merchandise.
• Ensure proper sanitation and safe food handling procedures.
• Follow company guidelines and wear the uniform with name badge.
