Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Deli Bakery Associate to deliver quality customer service in the Deli Bakery Department. You will maintain standards, maximize sales through helpful service, and minimize shrink with proper procedures.

The role requires high school graduation or equivalent and strong interpersonal skills. You will operate in a fast-paced store environment with focus on Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Follow manuals for processing, labeling, etc.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying follow policies.
• Maintain sanitation of the department and proper food handling.
• Understand and use company tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Adhere to company guidelines and safety procedures.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions; report accidents to the Manager on Duty.
• Comply with local, state and federal regulations.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform and name badge on duty.
• Complete training courses as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
