Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Deli Bakery Associate to provide quality customer service within the Deli Bakery Department. You will help maintain standards, maximize sales through excellent customer service, and minimize shrink by following standard practices.

The role requires adherence to safety guidelines and the company dress code. Applicants should be high school graduates (or equivalent) with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and a willingness to learn multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in the Deli Bakery dept.
• Assist with product processing, labeling, and following standard practices.
• Ensure proper ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise.
• Maintain sanitation and proper food handling in the department.
• Follow Food Lion policies, safety guidelines, and dress code.
