About the Job: Must be available evenings and weekends until 10pm.
Responsibilities for Candidates:
- Prepare bakery and deli items according to customer requests using proper equipment.
- Offer product samples to customers to promote new items or answer inquiries.
- Inform customers about bakery and deli specials.
- Provide customers with ordered products in correct portions to minimize shrinkage.
- Recommend bakery and deli items to customers to meet their needs.
- Operate bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens following company guidelines.
- Prepare foods following temperature logs and cooking instructions.
- Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients as per recipes using appropriate utensils and equipment.
- Package, label, and inventory ingredients and merchandise properly.
- Check product quality, review "sell by" dates, and take necessary actions.
- Use kitchen equipment like stoves, scales, fryers, steamers, and food processors correctly.
- Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
- Report discrepancies in product ordering or shipping to the manager.
- Know the store layout to assist customers in locating products.
- Stay updated on current promotions and seasonal ads.
- Maintain knowledge of products and assist customers with questions and suggestions.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies.
- Ensure proper temperatures in cases and coolers and maintain logs.
- Promote trust and respect among team members.
- Create a welcoming environment for customers by providing excellent service and product knowledge.
- Follow all food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Adhere to safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and report them.
- Maintain a positive attitude.
- Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.

Qualifications for Candidates:
