Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
• Provide high-quality customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented, maintaining cleanliness in the bakery department.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment, including cleaning shelves, floors, and removing debris.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; monitor product rotation and discard outdated items.
• Receive, inspect, and log shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be a team player.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a High School diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years bakery experience preferred.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to take direction, work in a team, and handle equipment like knives, scales, and hand trucks safely.
• Able to stand for up to 8 hours, lift up to 40 lbs., and comply with safety and health regulations.
