Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service in our Fresh departments. You’ll share product knowledge, build positive connections with customers and teammates, and help maintain clean, organized displays.

The role requires physical activity and adaptability in a fast-paced store environment. You will rotate across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery, using the store tech to complete tasks efficiently while following safety standards to ensure quality

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product knowledge and locating items.
• Maintain fresh, full, and visually appealing displays in Fresh departments.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Support cross-department operations (Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, Grocery).
• Follow food safety, sanitation and quality procedures.
