Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a friendly Food Clerk to deliver excellent customer service, share product knowledge, and maintain fresh, organized displays in multiple store departments.

You will stock, rotate, and merchandise products, using store technology to complete tasks accurately while following food safety standards. The role requires the ability to stay active in a fast-paced environment, lift and move items, and collaborate with teammates across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and

• Customer service experience or aptitude for helping customers
• Ability to learn product knowledge and convey information clearly
• Strong listening and verbal communication skills

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products to company standards
• Use technology to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery departments
• Support other tasks as needed to keep store operations running smoothly
