A Deli Bakery Clerk at Carlie C’s IGA is responsible for providing prompt and friendly customer service, being courteous and cooperative with both customers and coworkers, and maximizing sales to build long‑term business. The role involves handling everything from fried chicken to nine‑layer cakes, including preparing, serving, cooking, and cleaning throughout the Bakery/Deli.

Duties

• Use scales and estametric printer, understand tare weight.
• Operate and sharpen meat/cheese slicer.
• Use chicken fryer, monitor grease levels.
• Prepare meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Apply portion control and maintain food temperature requirements.
• Operate oven and proof box.
• Keep sales area stocked and rotated.
• Clean and sanitize work area.
• Maintain Carlie C’s uniform standards.
• Perform other daily operational duties as directed by the Deli/Bakery Manager.
