Job summary

Military Deli & Bakery Services is hiring a Part Time Deli Bakery Associate to serve military personnel and their families at one of our US Commissary locations. The role emphasizes enthusiastic customer service, teamwork, and food safety.

Duties include slicing, tray prep, stocking, and possible cake/bakery tasks, with weekend shifts required. You will join a growing team with opportunities for growth into Field and Corporate roles, and relocation within 32 states is possible without loss of

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Willing to cross-train in bakery and deli tasks.
• Effective and friendly communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math and ability to follow written guidelines.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Able to stand and walk for entire shift; tolerate freezers for short periods.
• Team player with grocery, food service or retail experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Slice deli meats and cheeses per customer request.
• Prepare custom party trays and assemble sandwiches.
• Stock and organize displays; assist with shipments as needed.
• Maintain department sanitation and proper food handling.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations.
• Other duties may include cake decorating, bakery tasks, or rotisserie chicken prep.
