Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal, motivational and communication skills.
• Operate deli equipment (e.g., slicer, oven, scale, knives, box cutter and pricing gun) according to company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Service (60%) – Create an environment where customers feel welcome and valued; ensure product availability, freshness, quality and value; offer samples and assist customers.
• Leadership (20%) – Promote teamwork and communicate information; comply with laws and company guidelines.
• Financial (10%) – Monitor inventory and product quality; prepare, package, label and display products; manage temperature logs and shrink reduction measures.
• Compliance/Safety (10%) – Follow safety, food handling, sanitation and regulatory requirements; report safety risks and accidents; adhere to wage/hour policies.
