Job summary

ShopRite is seeking an Appy/Deli Clerk at Medford, NJ. You will assist the Appy/Deli Manager, maintain a neat department, and deliver a great customer experience in a busy grocery setting.

Responsibilities include operating slicer and related equipment, restocking, price changes, and following safety and QA standards. The role requires good English, basic math, physical ability to lift 25-50 lbs, and a willingness to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English clearly.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to operate department equipment (slicer, scale, wrapping, etc.).
• Stamina to stand and lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.

Responsibilities

• Operate slicing and related equipment safely.
• Replenish and prepare Appy/Deli products for sale.
• Maintain department cleanliness and visual appeal.
• Follow procedures for receiving, dating, storing, and price marking.
• Assist in inventory checks and routine housekeeping.
