Job summary

ShopRite of West Milford is seeking an Appy/Deli Clerk to support the Appy/Deli Manager in daily operations. You will keep the department neat, assist customers, and help ensure safe, efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preparing products, stocking displays, operating slicers, and following QA standards. The role requires physical stamina and a friendly customer approach in a busy retail setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to operate department equipment (slicer, scale, etc.).
• Ability to stand, lift 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate the slicing machine and related equipment.
• Replenish Appy/Deli products.
• Prepare Appy/Deli products for sale.
• Follow procedures for receiving, dating, storing, and pricing.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Unload trucks and move merchandise weighing 25–50 lbs.
