Job summary

ShopRite of Bordentown is seeking an Appy/Deli Clerk to support the manager in daily operations of the Appy/Deli Department. The role includes preparing products for sale, restocking displays, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment to deliver excellent customer experience.

Responsibilities include using slicing and related equipment, verifying invoices, pricing changes, and adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Must be 18+ and able to lift up to 50 lbs. Competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak English and understand basic math.
• Ability to operate department equipment as required.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and with food products.

Responsibilities

• Use slicing machine and related equipment.
• Replenish Appy/Deli product and prepare for sale.
• Follow procedures for receiving, dating, storing, pricing, and restocking.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Check refrigeration and report failures; ensure proper display and rotation.
