Job summary

ShopRite of MARLTON in Marlton, NJ is seeking a dedicated team member for the Appy/Deli Department. You will assist the Appy/Deli Manager, maintain a neat, appealing department, and support daily operations with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

You will handle slicing, display prep, inventory, and customer interactions, following company policies and QA standards. This role requires physical stamina and teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and spoken English proficiency required.
• Basic math ability required for handling prices and counts.
• Operate deli equipment such as slicers, scales, and wrapping machines.
• Stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Work in varying temperatures and handle food products safely.
• Be able to work with dust and cleaning agents; maintain cleanliness.
• Stand/walk for full shifts and interact with customers
• Work cooperatively with others and follow schedules

Responsibilities

• Use slicing and related equipment to prepare Appy/Deli products.
• Replenish and display Appy/Deli products attractively.
• Prepare Appy/Deli products for sale per procedures.
• Receive, date, store, and price mark products; rotate stock.
• Monitor inventory and report spoilage or low conditions.
• Keep displays stocked and faces correct; ensure clean work areas.
• Check refrigeration regularly and report issues promptly.
• Operate equipment safely and follow QA standards.
• Maintain safe, organized, and sanitary work environment.
• Unload trucks and transport merchandise; lift as required.
• Adhere to safety, attendance, and company policies.
