Job summary

ShopRite of Fairless Hills is seeking an Appy/Deli Associate to support the Appy/Deli Manager in daily operations, keep the department neat and visually appealing, and assist with product prep and display. You will deliver great customer service and work safely within company policy.

The role requires strong English reading/writing, basic math, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and the ability to work in varying temperatures while handling fresh and prepared foods;

Qualifications

• Reads, writes, speaks, and understands English.
• Performs basic math operations.
• Operates department equipment as required.
• Lifts up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Work in varying temperatures and handling food safely.

Responsibilities

• Use slicing machine and related equipment.
• Replenish Appy/Deli products.
• Prepare Appy/Deli products for sale.
• Follow procedures for receiving, dating, storing, pricing and stocking.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized workstation.
• Promote current promotions to customers.
• Assist in other tasks as needed by the department manager.
