ShopRite of Brunswick in East Brunswick, NJ is seeking an Appy/Deli Clerk to deliver a great customer experience in the Appy/Deli department and to support the Appy/Deli Manager in daily operations while keeping displays neat and inviting. This role emphasizes safety, friendliness, and efficiency in a fast-paced retail setting.

The position is hourly at $16.50 per hour, with duties including food prep, stocking, price changes, equipment operation, and assisting customers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Ability to operate department equipment.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Use a slicing machine and related equipment.
• Replenish Appy/Deli product.
• Prepare Appy/Deli product for sale.
• Follow procedures for receiving, dating, storing and price marking.
• Maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment.
• Unload trucks and transport merchandise.
• Monitor inventory and report low stock.
• Dress and groom according to policy.
• Perform duties in accordance with safety standards.
