Job summary

ShopRite of Flemington is hiring an Appy/Deli Clerk (SRHC NJ) to support the Appy/Deli Manager in daily operations and to keep the department neat and visually appealing while ensuring safe, efficient service.

You will perform tasks ranging from product prep to stock rotation, adhere to sanitation standards, and assist customers in a friendly, helpful manner. This role requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working varied schedules.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to operate department equipment (e.g., slicer, scale, can-opener, wrapping machine).
• Ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and lift up to 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a great customer experience in the Appy/Deli Department.
• Assist the Appy/Deli Manager with daily operations.
• Maintain neat, clean, and visually appealing department.
• Follow procedures for receiving, dating, storing, pricing, and stocking products.
