Job summary

LeoForce in Wilmington is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join a leading national law firm’s commercial litigation practice. The role offers exposure to sophisticated disputes and early responsibility in a Wilmington office.

The candidate will handle complex matters, argue in Delaware courts, draft briefs, and collaborate on discovery and trial prep, while maintaining direct client communication and strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of litigation experience in a law firm setting.
• Experience practicing in the Delaware Court of Chancery and/or Delaware Superior Court's Complex Commercial Litigation Division.
• Superior legal writing and research skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Handle complex commercial litigation matters from early case assessment through resolution.
• Appear in and practice before the Court of Chancery of Delaware and the Complex Commercial Litigation Division of the Superior Court of Delaware.
• Draft and argue motions, conduct legal research, and prepare briefs.
• Support and collaborate on discovery strategy, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Communicate directly with clients on case strategy and status.
