Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking a Summer Intern for a 12-week program (May–Aug or Jun–Sept 2027) in Chicago. The intern will join the DEI Team to support community impact, communications, and employee networks in a hybrid work setting.

Desirable majors include Communications, Marketing, Organizational Development/Change, Business, or Liberal Arts. Strong written and verbal communication skills are valued; no specific tech prerequisites are required beyond MS Office.

Qualifications

• Desired majors include Communications, Marketing, Organizational Development/Change, Business, or Liberal Arts. Open to Political Science, Sociology, or related social science majors given project scope.

Responsibilities

• Process Improvement Project: map current DEI team workflows and identify opportunities to reduce manual effort.
• ENG Support: assist Employee Networking Groups with administrative tasks and engagement.
• Communications Support: help develop inclusive storytelling campaigns across newsletters, websites and media.
• Community Impact Support: assist nonprofit partnerships and community initiatives as capacity allows.
