Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) invites undergrad or graduate students to join a 12-week Summer Internship in HRIS & HR Analytics in Chicago. Interns will work up to 40 hours per week in a hybrid setting, gaining real-world experience with Workday, data reporting, and stakeholder collaboration.

You will contribute to data dictionary creation, lifecycle mapping, and reporting initiatives while learning from HR professionals in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Rising senior or second-year graduate student, graduating December 2027 or May/August 2028.
• Knowledge of Workday/HR systems desirable.
• Understanding of HR analytics concepts helpful.

Responsibilities

• Build a data dictionary for core people-data fields.
• Map the employee lifecycle across sourcing, onboarding, performance, development and exit.
• Identify points where small data changes yield outsized impact.
• Draft an HR metrics glossary for the HR team.
• Contribute to reporting standardization and hub optimizations.
• Assist in Workday-related administrative tasks.
