Job summary

University of South Carolina in Columbia seeks a Degree Audit Coordinator to manage DegreeWorks scribe details and ensure alignment with degree requirements across undergraduate, graduate, medical, law and pharmacy programs.

You will support the Student Educational Planner (SEP), test scribing accuracy, resolve articulation issues, and collaborate with advisors, departments and financial aid staff. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a job-related field and 2+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of certification, training, education and/or experience.
• Experience working with higher education degree audit systems.
• Ability to coordinate scribe detail updates and templates in DegreeWorks and SEP.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scribing program requirements in DegreeWorks to align with approved degree requirements at undergrad, graduate, medical, law and pharmacy levels.
• Coordinate functionality and end user support of the Student Educational Planner (SEP).
• Verify accuracy of scribing work by tests and resolve course equivalency and transfer issues with relevant staff.
• Address scribing issues related to Financial Aid Course Program of Study module using DegreeWorks data.
• Provide curriculum validation and scribe support to academic advisors, faculty, and students; assist with other duties as assigned.
