Job summary

SierTeK Ltd is seeking qualified personnel for the Hill Air Force Base tool control center in Utah. The role focuses on managing tool issuance, TMDE upkeep, and compliance with Air Force and site procedures.

A security clearance is required, with duties spanning inventory, reporting, and coordination with Government representatives. The position supports satellite tool locations, maintains tool accountability, and ensures accurate records while adhering to government guidelines and contract

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Experience in supply, material control, tool control, logistics or depot operations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work with contractor personnel, Government reps, supervisors, and management.

Responsibilities

• Manage, inspect, issue, transport, receive, store, repair, and dispose of hand tools and equipment.
• Build and maintain tool kits and TMDE.
• Operate tool issue centers per Air Force, Government and site regulations.
• Maintain tool-control procedures to prevent Foreign Object Damage (FOD).
• Ensure tools are issued only to personnel with valid security badge/authorization.
• Identify, inventory and maintain accountability of tools and equipment.
• Maintain satellite tool locations and staff them appropriately.
• Provide support to satellite tool locations per Material Transfer/Tool Control requirements.
• Ensure TMDE is current with preventive maintenance and calibration schedules.
• Coordinate turn-ins and pickups for overdue TMDE with Government representatives.
• Record-keeping and accountability for TMDE per regulations.
• Inventory tools in tool boxes and document inventories.
• Mark/dermark toolboxes and tools per guidance; use laser etching when available.
• Use FEMS and PAMS to track inventories and generate tool-control reports.
• Coordinate deliveries to DRMO when required.
• Process warranty claims and disposition for tooling.
• Report lost or missing tools per Air Force and Government guidance.
