Job summary

IPT Associates (IPTA) is seeking a seasoned QA/Test Engineer to lead manual and automated testing for DoD programs at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex, AL. You will design robust test strategies, build reusable scripts for functional, regression, API, and database testing, and manage defects with cross-functional teams.

The role requires five years of related experience, a DoD 8570 Level II/III certification, and an active security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with Jira and Zephyr.
• Five years of prior experience in a similar role.
• Active DoD 8570 Level II/III certification.
• Active Security Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute all manual and automated testing efforts for DoD systems.
• Design and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, API, and DB testing.
• Create and maintain detailed manual test cases in the government-approved tool.
• Manage defect lifecycle and work with developers to verify fixes.
• Support RMF activities with testing evidence and related artifacts.
